F80040-2 Spoiler Ground Lock

?(2) ? 27-62-00/201, Speed Brake Control System
?(1) ? Location Zone 309, 409 Wing Trailing Edge Inboard Flap and Spoilers
?S 864-003 ?(1) ? Supply the electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
?(2) Supply the systems A and B hydraulic power (Ref 27-62-00/201).
?(3) ? Move the flap control lever to the 40-unit detent to extend the trailing edge flaps.
?(4) ? Move the speed brake lever to the UP position.
?(5) ? Install the spoiler ground locks on the linkage for the actuator that you will not remove.
?(6) Remove the systems A and B hydraulic power (Ref 27-62-00/201).
?(7) ? Remove the actuator linkage (Fig. 401):
?(a) ? Make a mark on the idler crank to make sure you install it correctly.
?(b) ? Remove the bolt that attaches the piston rod end to the idler crank.
?(c) ? Remove the bolt that attaches the spoiler to the pushrod.
?(d) ? Remove the pivot bolt for the idler crank.

?(2) ? Install the pushrod on the idler crank:
?(a) ? Make sure the pushrod is installed on the longer arm of the idler crank.
?(b) ? Apply the grease to the inner diameter of the bushing housing.
?(c) ? Install the bolt to attach the pushrod to the idler crank.
